It could easily fall under "won't fix", but I figured it's worth alerting to anyways. given this code: class A class B < A end end walking the constants looks similar to this: irb(main):005:0> A.constants => ["B"] irb(main):006:0> A::B.constants => ["B"] irb(main):007:0> A::B.const_get(:B) => A::B Blew the stack limit trying to navigate a namespace similar to this. I think this is a bug because I can't fathom having a constant that's self-referential, but it's obviously an indication of a poor design decision on the part of the person who wrote said namespace structure (which in this case, would be me). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: http://rubyforge.org/tracker/?func=detail&atid=1698&aid=6583&group_id=426
