Subject: Ruby Socket to support SCTP?

Hi,

Is there a plan to support SCTP Sockets in Ruby?
(SCTP is defined in RFC2960, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SCTP and 
supported in Linux 2.6, Solaris 10, QNX and AIX v5 plus BSD with Kame 
patches and Linux kernel 2.4 with package.)

I was not able to see information regarding this on the web.
