Sure.  I also don't mind having git repo hosted at ruby-lang.org
and using ruby-core+Redmine for discussion.

Fwiw, I strongly prefer git over SVN.  I only refuse to use
proprietary messaging systems, JavaScript, and do not agree with
GitHub's terms-of-service.
