[ruby-core:83002] [Ruby trunk Feature#13221] [PATCH] gems/bundled_gems: add "curses" RubyGem

ruby-core #83002
Issue #13221 has been updated by naruse (Yui NARUSE). As far as I understand, curses has still no active maintainer. Ruby intends to keep wide portability; it's tough work especially for curses, the tty thing. CRuby project gave up to maintain curses under such circumstances. Separate repo and bundle doesn't solve it. ---------------------------------------- Feature #13221: [PATCH] gems/bundled_gems: add "curses" RubyGem https://bugs.ruby-lang.org/issues/13221#change-66911 * Author: normalperson (Eric Wong) * Status: Assigned * Priority: Normal * Assignee: naruse (Yui NARUSE) * Target version: ---------------------------------------- This was part of the standard library in Ruby 2.0 and earlier; and some users may still expect it to be in the standard install. ---Files-------------------------------- 0001-gems-bundled_gems-add-curses-RubyGem.patch (624 Bytes) -- https://bugs.ruby-lang.org/ Unsubscribe: <mailto:ruby-core-request@ruby-lang.org?subject=unsubscribe> <http://lists.ruby-lang.org/cgi-bin/mailman/options/ruby-core>
