Even some of them can think it's a mistake of documentation. so I wanna commit this patch(using_rb_define_method_for_rbHash.patch), is there any problem? ---------------------------------------- Misc #10755: Use rb_define_alias instead of rb_define_method for rb_cHash https://bugs.ruby-lang.org/issues/10755#change-51783 * Author: gogo tanaka * Status: Open * Priority: Low * Assignee: ---------------------------------------- Hi, there. The main reason for using `rb_define_alias` is generating more prefer Document and making code more readable. Is there any reason `rb_define_method` is prefered to `rb_define_alias`? If so, please let me know :) If not so, I'm gonna do same thing for other part of code. I've sorted some methods in terms of `rb_define_alias` being very after original. ---Files-------------------------------- using_rb_define_method_for_rbHash.patch (3.19 KB) -- https://bugs.ruby-lang.org/
