Hello,

    Before I submit a patches for documentation, I wanted to ask about file.

Where does the head method come from? Maybe keiju still lurks around?

Btw, I seen shell.rd in doc/, its been hiding there for 4 years and everybody 
keeps asking about how to use shell.rb. The document is outdated a bit, but I 
can fix it up to be rdoc'ed in the code correctly.
