Hello,

With the post concerning Neko generating some interest, I thought this
(http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc/2005-11/msg00888.html)
post might be of some interest.

I googled for "llvm ruby compiler" and found this
(http://llvm.cs.uiuc.edu/pubs/2004-Spring-AlexanderssonMSThesis.html)
and I did see that Robert Feldt 
(http://blade.nagaokaut.ac.jp/cgi-bin/scat.rb/ruby/ruby-talk/109050)
had mentioned it in the past so this isn't new news, but with GCC 
possibly using
this as a backend it would be very interesting if Ruby could generate LLVM.
