Subject: Strange 'ambiguous arguments' warning

Why does line 5 in the following program trigger the 'ambiguous first
argument; put parentheses or even spaces' warning?

  def t(a)
  end

  t 'a'
  t /a/
  t %r{a}

I'm not seeing what's special about the Regexp.
