Here is a small addition to Pathname against 1.9, probably suited

Thanks Shugo.

I'm replying for the NG -> ML gateway because it is unable to
reply for itself ;-/

ruby-talk@ruby-lang.org has not been accepting mirrored posts
since http://blade.nagaokaut.ac.jp/ruby/ruby-talk/153218
on Mon, 22 Aug 2005 20:31:17 +0900 (JST).
( That's the most recent post with an "X-From-Usenet:" header. )

It is very /unlikely/ that the gateway software will respond to
45x SMTP error codes and retry delivery of posts because it is
almost completely dumb ;)

As you may know, the gateway (from your point-of-view) is just
another ruby-talk ML subscriber posting from a single account.

According to the reference in your post and this link, :
http://www.greylisting.org/whitelisting.shtml , a whitelisting
facility is provided.

It would be helpful if you could ensure that the gateway account
set up by the maintainer (Dennis Oelkers) is added to that whitelist.
(Obviously, I don't know the email address he uses for the gateway
- he may use his own ?) His SMTP server IP address is in the
post above [ruby-talk:153218].

I hope that's all you need but if you need any further
details, please post a reply here (ruby-core).

( I considered cc: David Black but assume he'll see this anyway.
  - He may be of more help than I would be. )
