Summary: Ruby's YAML parser doesn't ignore trailing whitespace

Initial Comment:
The YAML module in Ruby 1.8.2 incorrectly includes trailing whitespace
in hash values. For example, it includes the trailing tab in the hash
entry here:

$ ruby -e 'require "yaml"; x = YAML::load("a: b\t\n"); raise "wrong"
if x["a"] =~ /\t/'

This is wrong, and can lead to mysterious problems that are hard to debug.
