Subject: [ruby-core:40228] warnings from 1.8.x are absent in 1.9.x?

Hello all.

Noticed that this code, on 1.8.6:

['1', '2'].min{|name| name.split('/')[2]}
(irb):1: warning: multiple values for a block parameter (2 for 1)
        from (irb):1
NoMethodError: private method `split' called for ["2", "1"]:Array

however in 1.9.3rc1:

['1', '2'].min{|name| name.split('/')[2]}
ArgumentError: comparison of String with String failed
        from (irb):1:in `each'
        from (irb):1:in `min'

should it have warned similarly there? Bug report worthy?
