I noticed that when used excessively, rb_hash_aref can become a
bottleneck, even for a hash
with symbol keys with just about 10 key/value pairs. So I looked into
this a bit and found out
that st_table is using Murmur Hash. We don't use Murmur3 [1] yet, do
we? If not, how do you
feel about upgrading?
