Apologies. I didn't see these messages until just now.  The
maintenance of 1.8.6 is an open question, I would say.  I have a
desire to do one final release of it, to wrap up some outstanding
issues for people who are still using it. However, even amongst the
body of Engine Yard users who are still using it (and there is a
surprisingly large number who are), there seems to be little desire
for a lot of additional time to be put into it.

So, I guess I will put the question out there.  Should it be wrapped
up as is, at pl420, or should I make a push for a final release,
perhaps around the end of summer, and have that release mark the end
of formal 1.8.6 maintenance?
