Thank you for your Input. I will hardlink it and try to understand better.

In the meantime for the Postgresql Users out there that want their Apps to work on Linux and Windows my Observations:

pg 0.10.1 does not build on Ruby 1.9.1 on Windows. It _does_ build on Linux with Ruby 1.9.1. 

pg gem 0.10.1 does work on Linux with Ruby 1.9.1 and Ruby 1.8.6 but does _not_ work with Linux with Ruby 1.9.2
