Yes.  I'm flying to Munich from Virginia the same day the other Ruby 
conference ends.

Time to learn German in a hurry.

Oddly, my girl friend is from Bavaria, yet I've never learned much 
German from her because she has a hard time switching between German and 
English.    She's a US citizen now, and has lived here for a while, so 
she tends to think in English.

(Though it's fun to watch the shift when we go to Germany, and before 
too long, she starts speaking to me in German, not realizing she is 
speaking to me in German.)
