Well then, I would suggest that DVCS advocates choose their words more
carefully.

I have no objection to DVCS adoption. It would be a good thing. I just
have issues with git. I'll use mercurial, or even monotone...

I already use bzr for working on Ruby, via bzr-svn.

I've been considering making a proper Debian/Ubuntu Ruby package,
since the Debian maintainers seem unwilling to do so. I don't think
it's a task I can take on alone, though. For my own purposes I've been
building from source.
