Killing an IRC channel really isn't my point. My point is to foster more / better communication among the ruby-core team. Each type of communication has advantages and disadvantages. We must choose the appropriate communication channel depending on the problem to solve. Should the mailing list be the only way core team members communicate? The ruby-core team are my coworkers, and sometimes I like to talk to my coworkers outside of mailing lists. If it improves communication among members, here is my contact info: skype: tenderlovemaking GTalk: aaron.patterson@gmail.com AIM: tenderlovemaking IRC: tenderlove Twitter: @tenderlove Phone: 1-206-651-4359 Anyone on ruby core team, feel free to add me. I think in general, the more we communicate with each other, the better. But it's also up to us to determine when we should move conversations to important places like ruby-core. (Conversations like [ruby-dev:42894] may be good to move here :-P ) <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 --=20 Aaron Patterson http://tenderlovemaking.com/ --k1lZvvs/B4yU6o8G Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.11 (Darwin) iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJNJPTzAAoJEJUxcLy0/6/G1fsH/jv370SU6ICs04OOVhLVxd8N GCTur6dHqOIbuq0VqAHbV4vEYwMnyOPa63dLQHiNfGdzUGNnCqVcfkdWDBRCuUzC WUvsuwT+d2f8ic4FSWSfQdEIMb62pKwPEqtO3HZum1+7YYpmMpxpdLgv9TnOp6wu jQ7RhNnZ4EWt1THB5T4zZDh3W07oUmYVdOge+Vfv++AKkFYOs+/5a65zmlVf1sQL tpEc6hnU6tmzPW2XYXID46ec8u/kf2Q9CviwlpXjcplLML+n1JazWS5uXmGZw6YC Vh2csQgYW6gqhX2NWiVlAwUeXleEgAloxtLE1CVsZ0qdgkp46O7SqIe8932FefQ= =G0RQ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --k1lZvvs/B4yU6o8G--
