Keep it a first-rate supported architecture (different from Ruby's word "supported"), run make test and make test-all is important. By this, we can know there is a problem. So run test with trunk or stable branch like ruby_1_9_2 and report a trouble if exists is also a contribution. I sometimes run make check on NetBSD current with amd64, and know some segv problems; dl, fiddle, drb, and fiber. So I run test-all like make RUBYOPT=-w TESTS='-v -x"dl/|fiddle/|drb/|fiber"' test-all|&tee t.log And I get following result. 1) Error: test_server_session(OpenSSL::TestSSL): OpenSSL::SSL::SSLError: SSL_set_session: unable to find ssl method /home/naruse/ruby/test/openssl/test_ssl.rb:546:in `session=' /home/naruse/ruby/test/openssl/test_ssl.rb:546:in `block (2 levels) in test_server_session' /home/naruse/ruby/test/openssl/test_ssl.rb:537:in `times' /home/naruse/ruby/test/openssl/test_ssl.rb:537:in `block in test_server_session' /home/naruse/ruby/test/openssl/test_ssl.rb:117:in `call' /home/naruse/ruby/test/openssl/test_ssl.rb:117:in `start_server' /home/naruse/ruby/test/openssl/test_ssl.rb:536:in `test_server_session' 2) Failure: test_inline_source_is_enabled_by_default(Rake::TestRDocTask) [/home/naruse/ruby/test/rake/test_rdoc_task.rb:65]: Failed assertion, no message given. 3) Error: test_inline_source_option_can_be_disabled(Rake::TestRDocTask): NoMethodError: undefined method `inline_source=' for # /home/naruse/ruby/test/rake/test_rdoc_task.rb:81:in `test_inline_source_option_can_be_disabled' 4) Error: test_aset(TestEnv): Errno::EINVAL: Invalid argument - setenv /home/naruse/ruby/test/ruby/test_env.rb:128:in `[]=' /home/naruse/ruby/test/ruby/test_env.rb:128:in `test_aset' 2) and 3) are resolved in current trunk. I don't know about 1). 4) is NetBSD's feature change, so I'll follow it when related discussion is closed. -- NARUSE, Yui
