ruby-core #3304
Hi,
In message "URGENT: what's the bug reporting system now?"
on 04/08/26, Dave Thomas <dave@pragprog.com> writes:
|Does ruby-bugs@ruby-lang.org still work?
No. It has been stopped since "the cracking". The BTS (Jitterbug)
was full of spam and had several vulnerabilities. That had not been
really useful for us developers. Some reports go to the list, some go
to BTS. Information was scattered in channels. So we didn't have
much motivation to restart BTS.
|What is the current official way of reporting bugs?
ruby-talk, or ruby-core. But we can restart it (probably using
different tool) on the same URL before the pickaxe will be out.
Since the situation is urgent, we need to decide it right now.
Any ideas?
matz.
