Subject: [ruby-core:32851] Dtrace

Hi!

I'd like to know what the current plans are for Dtrace probe support in Ruby. From what i've been able to piece together from the code base and the mailing list support was removed from 1.9.2 just prior to release. There is a project on github that attempts to add probe support via gem but this code doesn't build against the current codebase. Dtrace support in ruby is extremely valuable (to me at least) and I'd be happy to help get this support back into ruby where I can.
