It might be off topic though I have to mention this anyway.  This is not for
Luis, but other Ruby programmers:

I am honestly skeptic for 1.8.7's getting convenient any more.  Stop using
that old version today and just start using 1.9.2.  That doesn't mean core
team is finishing 1.8.7, but YOU should.  For ones who already deployed 1.8.7,
we offer fixes for a while, but if you are to start providing something, 1.8.7
is not a wiser choice.
