Agreed. This is why (way back in my original or second message) I indicated that I was hoping for someplace to meditate on issues like this. If core team prefers I can file a bug, but I feel like bugs have constant pressure to be resolved. I'd rather think on this for a while. If I come up with new arguments, I'll be sure to file a bug at that time.
