If you feel we cannot remove REXML in 1.9, I am happy to defer to you. In
that case, though, can we begin a conversation about planning deprecation of
REXML in Ruby 2.0, in favor of Nokogiri?

Can we also begin a conversation about gemifying stdlib for Ruby 2.0? I
would like to see if this is something ruby-core is willing to commit to for
the next major release.
