I'll accept for 1.9.2 and close redmine issues #2261, #2265, #2266,
#2365, #2770, #2771, #2831.

The following might merit some discussion so I'll update them: issues
#2772, #2832.

I'll come up with the specs for:
- factorizations
- exponentiation
- solving linear equations
but I presume these will have to wait for 1.9.3...
