In the thread:
* almost of tests are passed great!
* it breaks dl on platforms which don't have libffi
* AIX XL can't build libffi, but gcc on AIX can build
* MSVC++ will be able to build next release of libffi (3.0.10)
* MSVC++ can't build current implementation of ext/dl
* valgrind reports some problems [ruby-dev:40339]

The proglem, MSVC++ can't build current ext/dl, is critical:
if it won't fix it will be reverted.
