Author: yang hui
Status: Open, Priority: High
ruby -v: ruby 1.8.6 (2008-08-11 patchlevel 287) [i386-mswin32]

Hi,all.
I am new in ruby. I downloaded ruby from your site http://www.ruby-lang.org/en/downloads/
this url http://rubyforge.org/frs/download.php/47082/ruby186-27_rc2.exe
but when I test it I find it does not work the same as on linux.
I find a valid version "ruby 1.8.4 (2005-12-24) [i386-cygwin]" from http://ftp.ruby-lang.org/pub/ruby/binaries/cygwin/1.8/

the second comand wo'nt be executed, only “fist command” printed.
print <<`EOC`
  echo fist command
  echo second
EOC
