[ruby-core:23266] minimum ruby 1.9.1-p0 to be embedded?

List: ruby-core #23266
I'm trying to embed ruby 1.9 in my application. I'm using ruby 1.9.1-
p0 as the base, this is what I'm doing right now:

get the relase package (.tar.gz)
./configure
add the source files and generated files to my project

I would like to know what's the minimum set of files I have to add to
get a working ruby interpreter in my application. I don't need (for
now) any part of the standard library, only the bare minimum core,
since I will be providing my own extension to interact with the rest
of the application...

Regards,
