Issue #1236 has been updated by Charlie Savage.


Actually, the code would be more like this:

#if RUBY_VERSION_MAJOR == 1 && RUBY_VERSION_MINOR < 9
#include <st.h>
#else
#include <ruby/st.h>
#endif

However, to do that with Ruby 1.8.6 appears to require including version.h, which doesn't appear to exist in Ruby 1.9.1.  So how should this be done?
