You could slightly modify it to be

 foo.?bar(*args) : &block

as a syntax sugar to:

 foo.respond?(:bar) ? foo.bar(args) : yield args

Or something similar... though i'd probably look awful if you wanted to pass a 
block to foo.bar :)
