I have both on my box, and it looks as if the Makefile in ext/readline  
is using readline:

LIBS = $(LIBRUBYARG_SHARED) -lreadline -lncurses  -lpthread -ldl -lobjc

Is there a way to tell at runtime which underline readline library I'm  
using?
