Subject: [ruby-core:20734] irb prompt question

I'm used to irb giving me indication of continued statements:

>> for x in ['a'] do
?> end
=> ["a"]

however this instance doesn't

>> for x in ['a']
>> end
=> ["a"]

Is this expected, or should I file a bug on it?
