Ok. Makes sense. What's puzzling me is that when I updated 1.9 recently, the reported revision didn't change, even though it seemed like a lot of files got updated and built. Before: $ ruby19svn -v ruby 1.9.0 (2008-03-21 revision 15824) [i686-linux] After: $ ruby19svn -v ruby 1.9.0 (2008-04-20 revision 15824) [i686-linux] So, is the date more important than svn revision for determining what interpreter version is running? -- vjoel : Joel VanderWerf : path berkeley edu : 510 665 3407
