Subject: Integrating Etc support for Win32

Hi all,

I recently published sys-win32etc, a Ruby package that
provides Etc module support for Win32 systems.  I
would very much like to see this integrated into the
Ruby core (1.8.1?) as part of the Etc extension (as
just "Etc", not "Win32Etc", naturally).

Integrating this module would also help provide
additional support for other classes, such as Process.

I thought I would ask on this list to see what the
general consensus was.  If you oppose this idea,
please provide a reason for your objections.
