Subject: SimpleDelegator.class changed?

Should the following program produces different results with Ruby 1.8.6 
and Ruby 1.9.0:

   require 'delegate'
   class C < SimpleDelegator; end
   p C.new('').class

Results 1.8.6: C
Rusults 1.9.0: String
