I can't speak for everyone, but I've very much enjoyed reading this  
thread.

I sometimes feel like all the neat decisions about Ruby's future are  
made in Japan and many of the rest of us just read about them in the  
commit messages.  To be clear, I don't mean that negatively.  I know  
you all try very hard to include us.

So, I haven't been able to think of anything intelligent enough to  
add to this thread, but I am reading along and trying to understand.   
I'm glad you had the discussion here and made that possible.
