Subject: continuations in Ruby 1.9?

I learned that continuations have been implemented in Ruby 1.9

I was under the impression that continuations were going to be removed 
from the language in 1.9.  Does their implementation in current builds 
mean that 1.9 will support continuations?  Or is that a decision that 
has not been made yet?
