Not useful? I don't think so ... Tk is the only GUI framework that comes with Ruby.
Without it you cannot make a single GUI window.

I won't be surprised if Tk guys see WEBrick "just not useful".  Which is obviously
wrong, and you know, Tk being not useful is also wrong.
