I haven't seen it mentioned explicitly in this thread so far, but I  
wonder if anyone (Laurent?) can confirm that Apple will included the  
(post-p36) fixes for building extensions, which was mentioned by Dan  
here:

This is a big one. I can't imagine that they wouldn't have  
incorporated this patch into their Ruby build, but then again, I  
still don't understand how 1.8.6-p36 was released with this bug in  
the first place.
