Issue #20015 has been updated by sawa (Tsuyoshi Sawada).


I would like to point out a few syntax errors in the published description or expressions whose meaning most likely departs from what was actually intended.

> We will not give away your email address to anyone, who is not related to the operations of ruby-lang.org.

The comma between "anyone" and "who" indicates that the relative clause "who ..." is used in non-restrictive usage. In other words, this sentence means:

> We will not give away your email address to anyone (at all). (By the way,) No one is related to the operations of ruby-lang.org.

Most likely, you intended restrictive usage, in which case you need to remove the comma.

> ... we use those files for debugging and statistical purposes.

This sentence (at least weakly) implies that ruby-lang will use those files **at least** for debugging and statistical purposes, and **may (or may not) use them for something else**.

I think what you intended was:

> ... we use those files **only** for debugging and statistical purposes.

> Please refer Usage limits of GitHub Pages.

You need to insert "to" after "refer".

In the above, you have "Usage" and "Pages" capitalized, which suggests that the phrase is an exact citation. However, what seems to be the corresponding phrase in the linked page is:

> Limits on use of GitHub Pages

which is different. You either need to replace "Usage limits of GitHub Pages" with the exact phrase as  above, or spell it in your own words without capitalization like "**the** usage limits of GitHub pages".

> Some sites under ruby-lang.org (e.g. bugs.ruby-lang.org) uses cookies to keep track of user preferences. 

You need to replace "uses" with "use".

We got the request to add privacy policy page on ruby-lang.org at https://github.com/ruby/www.ruby-lang.org/issues/3134

I put a draft page: https://github.com/ruby/www.ruby-lang.org/pull/3144

We will discuss about this in dev meeting with Matz before deploy that.
