I appreciate the bug tracker and the rubyforge team, but am
struck by the flood in these days.

Also, couldn't you consider about:

a) stopping sending the feeds for minor changes, like as
   Category only,
b) stopping citing all messages every time, especially for such
   minor changes,
c) feed-back from ruby-core to rubyforge,
d) adding In-Reply-To: or References: to the headears properly,
   instead starting new thread each time,
e) and not changing Summary: by escaping HTML meta-characters
   each time.
