From: "jeremyevans0 (Jeremy Evans)" Date: 2022-08-24T17:10:09+00:00 Subject: [ruby-core:109664] [Ruby master Bug#18932] Ruby 3.1 - Allow building with VS 2022 Issue #18932 has been updated by jeremyevans0 (Jeremy Evans). Can you point out which commits are needed for backporting to allow Ruby 3.1 to work better with VS 2022? Then we could mark those commits for backporting. However, the decision of whether to backport is always made by the branch maintainer. ---------------------------------------- Bug #18932: Ruby 3.1 - Allow building with VS 2022 https://bugs.ruby-lang.org/issues/18932#change-98886 * Author: MSP-Greg (Greg L) * Status: Open * Priority: Normal * Backport: 2.7: UNKNOWN, 3.0: UNKNOWN, 3.1: UNKNOWN ---------------------------------------- I know MSFT stated that one of the issues with VS 2022 would be fixed. That was noticed with RUby master (3.2). I.think. Anyway, would it be possible to allow Ruby 3.1 to compile with VS 2022? I built it, but there were test failures. Also, one group using ran into 'MSC version unmatch: 1920..1929 is expected.' Thanks, Greg -- https://bugs.ruby-lang.org/ Unsubscribe:
